The Height Limit Warning Barrier is a suspended polymer warning post that stops loads and vehicles from hitting a low-clearance opening at elevator doors, rolling shutter doors, bridges and similar structures, so cargo handling does not damage the structure or the load. When a forklift touches the post and tilts it beyond 30°, or applies gravity vibration, the column responds with both sound and light: an audible alarm cycles and stops after 20 seconds, while the LED bar flashes alternately red and white for 30 seconds. Because the post is not on the ground, it hangs from stainless steel 304 wire rope — no floor drilling and no anchor points in the traffic route. It is molded from imported polymer in a multi-layer extrusion, Φ125 in diameter and 500mm to 5000mm long.

Assembly & Installation

The column is suspended over the opening it protects on stainless steel 304 wire rope, so installation needs no floor anchoring or drilling in the traffic route. The unit is wired to a 220VAC supply and set at the clearance height that must not be exceeded, where a raised mast or load would strike the opening above. Because the column hangs rather than stands, vehicles pass underneath or nudge it without a fixed post in the way, and the sealed IP50 housing suits outdoor, dusty and wet areas. When a vehicle rides too high, the column tilts, triggers the alarm and swings back.
