Rack uprights are the most frequently struck asset in any warehouse, because every turn at the end of an aisle puts a forklift within centimetres of the frame. The Racking End Protector is a 500mm flexible polymer guard that stands in front of that contact point and absorbs up to 90% of the impact energy before it reaches the rack. Supplied in 600mm to 1800mm lengths with customized sizes, it shields the upright base, the beam level closest to the floor and the pallet loads above them — the zone where forklift damage usually starts. The body is molded from imported high-molecular polymer in yellow and black, so it flexes on contact and springs back rather than denting, and the powder-coated base with SS304 cap nuts keeps the fixing rust-free in wash-down and cold-store aisles.

Guard rail:

• Imported polymer plastic with strong weather and chemical resistance; the natural-color material has low chemical activity, so the guard does not age, crack or corrode.

Base:

• Metal and rubber components combined in assembly; exposed metal is black powder coated and withstands 500 hours of neutral salt spray without rust.

Ground connection:

• An inverted-cone chemical anchor bolt with dacromet coating resists 1,000 hours of neutral salt spray and is finished with an SS304 cap nut, holding the guard firm against repeated impacts.

Assembly & Installation

Each guard is placed directly in front of the racking end or rack face it protects, so the polymer rail takes the contact before the upright does. Sections are fixed to the concrete floor with an inverted-cone chemical anchor bolt and closed with an SS304 cap nut — no welding, cutting or on-site painting, and no downtime for the racking itself. Because guards fit at floor level in front of the frame, they can be installed aisle by aisle during normal operation, then extended, repositioned or moved when the racking layout is reconfigured.
