The Heavy-Duty Ground Barrier is the high-impact grade of our 200mm flexible ground range, built for rack ends that take constant punishment. Where a medium-duty ground rail suits ordinary aisle traffic, this heavy-duty version is specified for the busiest contact points in a facility — aisle ends on main forklift routes, racking rows beside high-frequency transfer lanes and zones where heavy pallet loads are turned in and out all shift. The rail is molded from imported high-molecular polymer in an arched profile that absorbs impact energy and returns to its original form, so the rack end survives repeated hits without a bent steel post. Sections run from 480mm to 3380mm at 200mm high, with dacromet-finished cast metal ends.

Each section is laid along the rack end it protects, so the rail sits at floor level in front of the upright base and frame end. Sections are anchored to the concrete slab with inverted-cone chemical anchor bolts — no welding, cutting or on-site painting, and no work on the racking itself, so installation moves aisle by aisle without stopping operations. Because the system is modular, a heavy-duty run can be extended when a route gets busier or shortened when racking is reconfigured, and the recovered polymer body needs no straightening or repainting after contact.
